This article introduces the implementation of some circuits of the VXI module of the arbitrary waveform generator designed for the engine servo system, and details the design and implementation of the waveform shape, waveform frequency, and waveform amplitude that can be arbitrarily changed according to user needs within a certain period of time. In the test of the solid rocket engine servo system, it is necessary to input multiple excitation signals continuously within 80 seconds, including square wave signals for measuring transient characteristics, sine wave signals for measuring frequency characteristics, and triangle wave signals for measuring speed characteristics. It is also required that the amplitude and frequency of the waveform output by the signal source can be changed. At the same time, a single module has dual-channel synchronous output, and multiple modules have synchronous output between channels. The previous waveform generator can only output a single, continuous waveform, and the shape, amplitude, and frequency changes of the waveform within a certain period of time cannot meet the requirements. The arbitrary waveform generator based on the VXI bus is designed based on the needs of the solid rocket engine servo system.
