_Terms and related specifications in testingTerms and related specifications in testing 1 Terms The following terms are used in this standard: 1.1 Handheld mobile phone A mobile wireless phone of the GSM standard suitable for personal handheld or pocket, powered by an internal power supply and using a self-equipped antenna, referred to as a mobile phone. When the area of the LCD screen exceeds half of the front usable area of the mobile phone, it is called a large-screen mobile phone. When a mobile phone has more than one or large display screens, or a pull-out keyboard, or multimedia accessories such as a camera, and the mechanical performance characteristics of this accessory are not suitable for certain environmental tests such as high temperature and drop tests performed on ordinary mobile phones, it is called a special type of mobile phone. 1.2 User terminal service teleservice Provides complete communication capabilities including terminal equipment (TE) functions. 1.3 Bearer service Bearer service A type of user terminal service that provides signal transmission capabilities (excluding terminal equipment functions) between user-network interfaces. It transmits user data between two MODEM interfaces. 3.4 Supplementary service Supplementary service A service that modifies or supplements bearer services or user terminal services. It cannot be provided to users as an independent service, but must be provided in combination with bearer services or user terminal services. 1.5 Idle mode A working mode in which any mobile phone monitors the broadcast channel without occupying the channel itself. 1.6 Dedicate mode A two-way channel configured for mobile phone communication, allowing it to use the equipment at both ends to exchange point-to-point information. 1.7 Sidetone Loudness Rating It is expressed as the path from artificial mouth to artificial ear.
