In view of the current slow processing speed, small data flow and inconvenient operation of parameter measurement in welding process, a welding parameter measurement system was developed with virtual instrument as the core, PC as the platform, NI data acquisition card and LabVIEW. The expected functions were achieved by developing a series of hardware circuits for signal acquisition and conditioning and using LabVIEW to build display and storage software. After simulation and experimental inspection, the system realized the measurement and acquisition of welding current, welding voltage and vibration acceleration, and greatly improved the overall function, human-machine interface and operability. The system has the characteristics of high reliability, low cost, strong versatility and convenient function expansion, and has good application value and market prospects. The measurement of important parameters such as welding voltage, welding current and vibration acceleration in welding process is of great significance to the study of welding process and monitoring of welding process. At present, the measurement of parameters in welding process is mainly manual reading with some simple sensors, which has the disadvantages of slow processing speed, small data flow and inconvenient operation. In view of this situation, this paper develops a welding parameter measurement system with virtual instrument as the core, PC as the platform, NI data acquisition card and LabVIEW. The system can make full use of the powerful data processing and storage functions of PC, and use LabVIEW to build an integrated operation interface. It realizes the measurement and storage of welding parameters and the monitoring of welding process.
