In recent years, my country\'s papermaking industry has developed rapidly, and large papermaking enterprises have put forward higher requirements for the automation degree and speed of paper roll conveyor lines [1]. Siemens industrial control products have the role of leading the world\'s industrial control technology trend. Researching the practical application problems of Siemens industrial control products has a wide and universal significance [2]. In combination with the characteristics of data acquisition in papermaking industrial enterprises, this paper uses Siemens S7-300 series programmable controller (PLC) to be responsible for data acquisition and control of related equipment on the conveyor line, and studies and develops the data acquisition system of the paper mill conveyor line. It can complete automatic data acquisition, automatic conveying and packaging, automatic weighing and printing of trademarks, etc. in the conveying and packaging process, forming a PLC-based paper roll conveying and packaging automatic data acquisition system suitable for the characteristics of papermaking enterprises. To achieve this goal, many problems need to be solved: First, the communication problem between PC and PLC. The communication protocol of Siemens S7-300 series PLC is not open. How to realize data communication between PC and Siemens S7-300 series PLC and apply it to the information exchange between PLC and PC system? Second, how to effectively solve the \"bottleneck\" problem of data entry and data collection during the transportation process, and greatly improve the transportation efficiency and data management level? In addition, it is impossible to use general weighing management software to meet the requirements of the system. How to collect real-time data from the weighing display instrument?
