Based on the requirements of modern communication systems, this paper studies in detail the use of dual-port RAM to achieve high-speed parallel data communication between dual CPUs, points out several key problems that need to be solved in the design and gives corresponding solutions. Keywords: dual-port RAM; dual CPU; parallel data communication In modern intelligent control systems, with the increase in information volume and the improvement of real-time requirements, high-speed acquisition and processing of information or data is often required. This requires that full attention be paid to its information processing capability when designing the control system, otherwise it is very easy to cause a \"bottleneck\" phenomenon in data processing, thus failing to meet the design requirements [1]. Embedded systems based on multi-CPU parallel processing can not only enhance the system\'s control and information processing capabilities, improve the system\'s automation and intelligence level, but also adapt to the complex field environment of various control fields. In embedded multi-CPU systems, data communication issues have become the main factor restricting their performance improvement, and the high-speed data communication and sharing capabilities of dual-port RAM provide convenience for solving this problem [2]. Dual-port RAM is not only a high-performance static memory, but also an excellent high-speed communication device. It can realize high-speed parallel communication between multiple CPUs between the two ports. This is another major application feature of dual-port RAM chips.
