In view of the problems existing in the prior art, this paper proposes a composite algorithm for rapid target recognition and tracking of multiple moving objects in a complex background. The algorithm uses differential calculation of continuous images to determine the moving target area, thereby removing the interference of complex background and significantly improving the speed and accuracy of target recognition. The system has been proven to be effective and practical, and can be widely used in monitoring and recognition systems, as well as in various fields such as unmanned monitoring and unmanned autonomous operation. The algorithm mentioned in this paper is now a key technology in a national key project. This arithmetic can determinate the area of motive target through the difference calculating of consecutive image, which can get rid of the interference of complex background, then improve the speed and exactitude of recognizing target obviously.
