Software-definable simulation of the system is an important measure for general simulation. It is an inevitable requirement and core technology to realize convenient and accurate software control and adjustment of many system parameters in simulation. This paper discusses the design ideas of the system, analyzes the process of defining and executing the system, and introduces the implementation of system parameter control and the method of embedding mature simulation tools for software-definable simulation of communication systems. It performs comprehensive software simulation of the system by modifying the system structure and changing various parameters, and achieves comprehensive optimization of system performance in the early stage of system development. In this way, the investment in system design and the development cycle can be greatly reduced. However, developing corresponding simulation software or building corresponding simulation platforms for each specific design will cause a lot of waste of manpower and material resources, and will also cause a lot of duplication of work in the development of simulation platform software. Software-definable simulation of the system is a good way to solve the above problems. The purpose of software-definable simulation is to build a general simulation platform for a certain purpose [1], which allows the construction and modification of the required simulation objects, the selection of system implementation methods, the control of system parameters, the definition of system input and output paths, and the observation and analysis of simulation results in multiple domains. Of course, the targeting of simulation must be subject to certain constraints. Sloppy and generalized general simulation often makes the system too large and pays insufficient attention to the simulation of subtle performance, and at the same time causes a certain degree of operational complexity. This paper introduces the design ideas of the software-definable simulation platform for communication systems, gives the system\'s composition block diagram and main functions, and discusses the key technologies for its implementation.
