In order to solve the problem that the DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) protocol causes network conflicts due to the flooding of routing request messages in networks with high mobility and high service initiation times, and fails to provide backup routes in time when routes fail, which causes increased network overhead and delay, an optimization scheme is proposed: using a multi-point relay mechanism to reduce the flooding range of control packets, select routes through multi-point relays, and provide backup routes. Simulation results show that the optimized protocol can reduce network overhead and delay.
