In the application environment of electronic transformers, only sampled data can be used to measure frequency. This paper proposes the concept of time domain continuous finite impulse response filter (TCFIR filter), and constructs a continuous digital bandpass filter based on it. This algorithm recovers continuous signals from discrete sampled data, completes bandpass filtering at the same time, and uses the filtered continuous signal for zero-crossing detection to measure the frequency. The simulation of 500kV line fault voltage containing 28% low-frequency harmonics and 25% high-frequency harmonics shows that when the algorithm data window length is 4 power frequency cycles (the delay is 2 power frequency cycles at this time), the frequency measurement error is less than 0.05Hz. It can meet the real-time frequency measurement requirements of power automation applications.
