This paper takes the hidden pole permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) as the control object and compares two different direct torque control methods: ST-DTC and DTC-SVM. From the simulation results, it can be seen that DTC-SVM is superior to the former in terms of dynamic performance and torque jitter suppression. And this paper points out that the existing DTC-SVM may make the PI controller unable to play its role in some cases, thereby deteriorating the dynamic performance of the system. In view of this shortcoming, this paper improves the existing DTC-SVM and introduces an additional speed feedback signal. The simulation experimental results show that this method can effectively use the PI controller to improve the dynamic performance of the system.
