Sensor Fault Diagnosis Based on Principal Component Analysis

When general identification methods are used to predict sensor faults, it is difficult to find accurate redundant relationships. To address this shortcoming, a method of using principal component analysis technology to establish a prediction model between sensors is proposed. It also overcomes the shortcoming that direct principal component analysis of sensor measurement data requires more sensors to be diagnosed. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation. Keywords: principal component analysis; sensor; fault diagnosis
