Virtual technology performance optimization of test instruments

Abstract: In order to use the existing traditional test instruments to meet the requirements of multifunctional and high-precision modern testing, this paper introduces in detail the method of using virtual instrument technology and GPIB (generic purposive interface bus) bus technology to expand the functions and optimize the performance of traditional test instruments, including the construction of the hardware platform and the design process of LabVIEW application software. By expanding the functions and optimizing the performance of a traditional two-channel oscilloscope, the feasibility of using virtual instrument technology is proved. The experimental results meet the expected goals of the design and achieve good results. Keywords: GPIB; virtual instrument; TNT4882; LabVIEW
