RJ45 network cable plug, also known as crystal plug, is made of eight cores and is widely used to connect network cables (called Category 5 cables or twisted pair cables) between network devices of LAN and ADSL broadband Internet users. In specific applications, there are two connection methods (line sequences) between RJ45 plug and network cable, which are called T568A line sequence (Figure 1) and T568B line sequence (Figure 2). The T568B standard is usually used.
