The relevant data of MPC8379E processor and the characteristics of DDR2, as well as the rules and simulation design of PCB routing between them are studied. Since both MPC8379E and DDR2 have quite high operating frequencies, the routing between them must meet the high-speed PCB routing rules, and special routing methods must be adopted in combination with the stacking, impedance, etc. in the actual system. This paper uses the EDA tool Cadence to simulate and design the DDR2 topology and signal integrity.
