        Maxim\'s MAXQ3183 is a dedicated energy measurement front-end IC that collects and calculates multiphase voltage, current, power, energy, and other measurements and power quality parameters of multiphase loads. The calculation results are processed by an external host via the SPI bus. The MAXQ3183 is compatible with three-phase/3-wire and three-wire/4-wire, operates on a single 3.3V power supply, and has a typical low power consumption of 35mW. It is mainly used in three-phase multi-function meters. This article introduces the main features of the MAXQ3183, block diagram, simplified clock source, phase compensation block diagram for energy calculation, apparent and reactive energy calculation block diagram, and typical application circuit diagram.
