Through the study of cognitive radio spectrum detection technology, combined with the cyclostationary characteristics that are commonly found in communication signals, this paper first explains the basic concept of cyclic power spectrum in detail, and then proposes a cyclic power spectrum feature detection algorithm based on second-order cyclostationary characteristics that can be applied to cognitive radio spectrum detection, and modifies the detection algorithm based on the actual needs of cognitive radio. On this basis, the detection algorithm is simulated with the QPSK modulation signal that is more commonly used in modern communication systems, and the effective detection performance of the algorithm is analyzed in detail based on the simulation results. The feasibility of the detection algorithm is also verified by practical applications.
