LM75B is a temperature-to-digital converter with built-in bandgap temperature sensor and Σ-Δ analog-to-digital conversion function. It is also a temperature detector that can provide overheat output function. LM75B contains multiple data registers: the configuration register (Conf) is used to store certain settings of the device, such as the device\'s operating mode, OS operating mode, OS polarity and OS error queue; the temperature register (Temp) is used to store the read digital temperature; the set point register (Tos & Thyst) is used to store the programmable overheat shutdown and hysteresis limit. The device communicates with the controller through a two-wire serial I2C bus interface. LM75B also includes an open-drain output (OS) pin, which is valid when the temperature exceeds the programmed limit value. LM75B has 3 optional logic address pins, so that 8 devices can be connected to the same bus at the same time without address conflicts.
