A new method for controlling the fixed-frequency hysteresis current of the inverter for photovoltaic power generation system connected to the public power grid is proposed. The method first divides the complex plane into 6 sectors based on the grid line voltage space vector, and realizes the decoupling of the two-phase switch in each sector to control the corresponding line current respectively; then, when the next line current error cycle of the control phase arrives, the hysteresis width of the next cycle is calculated and adjusted to achieve fixed-frequency hysteresis current tracking, improve the output current waveform, and improve the control accuracy. The main feature of this method is that the switching frequency can be stabilized without the need for additional analog circuits. Using Matlab for modeling, the simulation results prove that this method is effective in stabilizing the hysteresis switching frequency, and also show that this method is feasible for photovoltaic grid-connected inverters.
