DF camera maintenance basics DF-type Peacock, Seagull, and Pearl River cameras are mid-to-high-end cameras currently produced in my country. They have a relatively complex structure, but are relatively easy to use. 1. Lens loading and unloading Align the red dot on the outer diameter of the lens mount with the red dot on the front cover of the fuselage, insert it into the fuselage, and rotate it clockwise until you hear a slight locking sound. When removing it, push the lens lock button down, hold the lens and rotate it counterclockwise until the red dot on the lens mount is aligned with the red dot on the front face of the fuselage, then pull out the lens and remove it. The lens lock button of Peacock, Panda, and Seagull cameras is on the upper right. When removing the lens, push it down. The lens lock button of the Pearl River camera is on the upper right middle, and you press it inward to remove the lens. 2. How to open the back cover The back cover of the Peacock brand camera can be opened by lifting the rewind wheel, the back cover will open automatically, and the counter disk will reset automatically; the back cover of the Seagull, Panda, and Pearl River brand cameras can be opened by pushing in the direction of the arrow and pressing the switch button on the right end of the bottom cover, and the back cover will pop open automatically. 3. Loading film Put the film into the dark box in advance, then pull out the end of the film, flatten the film, insert the end into the film core, slowly turn the film rewinding wrench, let the film rewind through a circle, and close the back cover after the film hole and the film feed wheel are well engaged. Take two more empty shots, let the indicator in the counter window point to zero, then rewind the film and you can shoot.
