From the perspective of engineering application, this paper studies the influence of yaw angle on the robustness of P3P pose measurement method under the condition that three control points form an isosceles triangle and only consider the image coordinate detection error. Firstly, the relationship between pose parameter error and image coordinate detection error is theoretically derived. On this basis, through theoretical derivation under simplified conditions and statistical analysis under general conditions, it is found that when the yaw angle is 0°, the robustness of the measured pose is better. This conclusion has certain guiding significance for the design of pose measurement system.
