Abstract: EFI is the basic specification architecture of the next generation BIOS proposed by Intel. It is a BIOS innovation technology prepared for the next generation operating system. While solving the limitations of traditional BIOS, its own security issues have become the biggest obstacle to its further development. Based on the study of EFI structure, this paper focuses on analyzing the EFI driver model, designs and implements an EFI-based Ukey device driver, which can be used to solve the user authentication problem at the BIOS layer.
