Modern phased array radars require high-precision radar signals to ensure the accuracy of spatial power synthesis. A high-precision multi-channel radar signal source with AD9959 as the core is designed and implemented. The signal source uses multiple AD9959 chips to generate 32 sine waves, linear frequency modulation, phase encoding and other signal forms, and is designed to use AD8302 to detect and adjust the amplitude and phase of multiple signals. The signal source has been applied in actual projects. The field experimental results show that the high-frequency signal generated by the signal source system has high frequency stability and good phase amplitude consistency, which fully meets the performance index requirements of the signal source.
