Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is a typical artificial distributed complex intelligent large system with strong internal integration. In order to make such a system run in a coordinated and orderly manner, it is necessary to establish an efficient communication network system to realize the heavy and close communication connection within the system. However, efficient communication connection does not only depend on the communication link of the high-bandwidth communication network itself, but also strongly depends on the architecture and system standards of the communication system; in addition. Since ITS investment and construction are often impossible to achieve in one step, but are carried out in stages, it is necessary to leave a construction margin for the continuous development and expansion of the system. In general, in order to protect the original investment returns, the new system is often built on the basis of the original system. In this case, it is often encountered that the system\'s openness and expansion capacity are insufficient due to a large number of non-standard problems in the original communication network, resulting in investment waste and technical problems that cannot be solved in the short term. Therefore, the communication network architecture and system standards of ITS are gradually being valued by more and more experts. The author will conduct some research on the communication system and its standards of ITS from different angles, mainly discussing and analyzing the related issues of the communication system and its standards unique to ITS. The solutions for conventional telecommunication services involved in ITS engineering construction are often relatively mature and will not be covered in this article.
