Abstract: Currently, the school bell rings during normal class time from Monday to Friday, and also during weekend breaks, which affects the rest of teachers and students. The AT89S52 single-chip microcomputer is used to realize automatic control of the school bell. From Monday to Friday, the bell will ring according to the schedule. On weekends, the button can be used to set it to ring or not, so that teachers and students who are busy for a week can have a good rest. At the same time, the system includes a time setting button, which can be used for schools with different schedules. 1302 plays the role of power-off protection to ensure that the time is not affected after a power outage. This design solves the problem of school bells still ringing on weekends, and can also be used in other places where bells are needed. Keywords: AT89S52 single-chip microcomputer; DS1302; adjustable time; automatic control
