The high-voltage synchronous motor operating system and comprehensive relay protection circuit are shown in Figure 4-59. This circuit uses an electromagnetic operating mechanism
(DC contactor KM connects to closing coil YC of circuit breaker QF).
This circuit is equipped with the following protections:
① Current quick-break protection and over-current protection (1KA, 2KA), which act on tripping;
② Single-phase grounding protection (KE, 1KS, KCB). Acts on tripping; (KE, 4KS), acts on signal;
③ Low voltage protection [KV1, KV2, KV3 (not shown in the figure), 1KC], acts on tripping.
④Oil system failure, acting on tripping.
