1.AsynchronousPower GenerationWiring Diagram.gif

A three-phase cage asynchronous motor is driven by the prime mover (such as a diesel engine, etc.), and
some capacitors are connected in parallel to the outlet end of the stator winding of the asynchronous motor as an excitation power supply, so that three-phase alternating current can be output. This method of power generation is called asynchronous power generation.
The wiring of asynchronous power generation is shown in Figure 7-1. The self-excited capacitor is divided into two parts: one part allows the generator to generate rated voltage
when no-load , which is called the main capacitor (c0); the other part enables the generator to change from no-load to full load and maintains the rated voltage unchanged, which is called additional capacitance or regulation. Capacitance (lCf, 20). Capacitors can be metallized film capacitors or self-healing parallel capacitors, such as BCMJ, BFF series, etc., with a rated voltage of not less than 400V. The capacitance of the main capacitor can be estimated according to the following formula: When used for a generator with a rated voltage of 380V, Cc - 14.5510 (p, F) When used for a generator with a rated voltage of 220V, Co = 2510 (and F) where , Io is the no-load current of the modified asynchronous motor, A.
