Boost drive circuit composed of RT8450

The boost driver circuit composed of RT8450 is shown in the figure below. In this circuit, the withstand voltage of Schottky diode D1 and the withstand voltage of C5 must be higher than the maximum value of the output voltage (VOUT).
The output voltage is divided by R3 and R4 and then added to the OVP terminal of the chip. When R2 or the LED string is open, the boost output voltage (i.e., the voltage across C5) will rise. When the OVP terminal voltage exceeds its threshold, the RT8450 will stop boosting to prevent overvoltage from damaging components.
