Shown is the pulse stretching circuit. This circuit is a pulse stretching circuit using a 2-input 3 -NAND gate . The signals at terminal S and terminal C are synchronized, and the pulse width of S is narrower than the pulse width of C. The feedback signal from output terminal A broadens the pulse width of S to be the same as the pulse width of C. When there is no signal at S terminal , the output terminal is low level . When there is a signal input at the S terminal, the output signal has the same pulse width as the C terminal, and the repetition period is the same as the signal period added to the S terminal.
