AC voltage regulator circuit diagram
This picture shows the simplest AC voltage regulator, which only consists of an inductor and a capacitor. However, the inductor is special and ordinary inductors cannot be used.
The capacitor in the picture can be a 10uF oil-immersed capacitor with a withstand voltage of AC400V. The inductor uses a traditional 40w fluorescent lamp ballast. The working principle is resonant voltage boosting and magnetic voltage limiting. Due to energy storage limitations, the output can only be limited to loads within twenty or thirty watts.
