Recently, the author inspected a flash advertising signboard for a merchant and discovered that the core component of the multi-channel lantern control circuit is an integrated block modeled SE9201. In order to facilitate readers to copy, the author drew this multi-channel lantern control circuit based on the actual object (see attached picture). By consulting relevant information, we learned that SE9201 is an 8-channel lantern control integrated circuit. It is programmed through the combination of different levels of the four pattern selection terminals B1~B4 (ie: B1~B4 are all connected to high level; B1~B4 All are connected to low level; B1 is connected to high level, B2, B3, and B4 are connected to low level; B1 and B2 are connected to high level, B3 and B4 are connected to low level; B1, B2, and B3 are connected to high level, and B4 is connected to Low level; B4 is connected to high level. B1, B2, and B3 are connected to low level: B3 and B4 are connected to high level, B1 and B2 are connected to low level; B2, B3, and B4 are connected to high level, and B1 is connected to low level. (flat.) There are 8 basic patterns and 4 basic function transformations available. These 8 basic patterns are: ①, ④ point chasing; ②, elastic expansion and contraction; ③, vault left spin; ④, vault right spin; ⑤, sequential Lights up and goes off at the same time; ⑥, lights up and goes off at the same time at the same time; ⑦, expands left and right; ⑧, flashes at intervals between full brightness. These four basic functions are: single cycle of 8 basic patterns, double cycle of 8 basic patterns, full cycle of automatic conversion of 8 basic patterns, and double full cycle of automatic conversion of 8 basic patterns. During the automatic conversion full cycle, the number of flashes for each pattern is 4 except for the interval between flashes. The remaining patterns are all 8 times. The number of flashes for each pattern of double cycle and double full cycle is half that of automatic conversion to full cycle.

SE9201 has a total of 8 output terminals Q1~Q8, which can drive 8 channels of colored lights. Since Q1~Q4 and Q5~Q8 are symmetrical, it can also be simplified to control 4 channels of colored lights. The power supply voltage used by the SE9201 integrated block is 3~8V, with a typical value of 5v. The value of the external variable resistor RP and capacitor c2 connected to the ③, ④, and ⑤ pins determines the oscillation frequency of the SE9201 internal clock oscillator. Usually c2 takes 0.1μ~0.0.22μ, and RP usually takes 1MΩ. By changing the resistance of RP, the speed of the light-emitting diode flash can be adjusted. It is worth reminding that the number of LEDs connected in series for each channel must meet the requirements. If the number of LEDs is not enough, a voltage-reducing resistor should be connected in series to prevent burning. Friends who are interested may wish to try making a flash circuit.
