In the study of magnetic material properties, complex processes are often required to obtain the B-H curve or magnetic field distribution diagram. It is extremely convenient to use Hall elements to study the characteristics of magnetic materials.

The circuit shown in the figure can be used to study the magnetic properties of a closed sample under alternating current. Because the relationship between the Hall voltage and the current of the core magnetizing winding VH=f(Im) also reflects the relationship between the magnetic induction intensity B and the magnetic field intensity H B=f(H), this relationship can be directly observed with an oscilloscope.

The above method can be used to study the magnetization curve of the core at ultra-high frequency. When the signal source uses a low-frequency signal generator, approximately static characteristics can be obtained using this method.
