Dynamic microphones are very versatile and ideal for general purpose use. They use a simple design with few moving parts. They are relatively strong and resilient to rough handling. They are also better suited for handling high volume levels, such as those from certain instruments or amplifiers. They have no internal amplifier and require no batteries or external power supply.

If you use 200 microphone R4 must be 220 C1 which is 4.7uF.

For best performance, use metal film resistors, MKM type for non-polar capacitors and tantalum type for bipolar capacitors. Use a stable and regulated power supply.

For a 3mVpp input signal, the output will be 800mVpp. When the input is 50mVpp, the maximum output voltage is 10Vpp. The frequency domain is between 50Hz and 100KHz.
