Home appliances must be plugged into sockets. There are many types of sockets, including ordinary sockets, combination sockets, explosion-proof sockets, sockets with switches and indicator lights,
sockets with fuses, ground sockets and combination socket boxes.
    The installation height of the socket should comply with the requirements of engineering design specifications. Generally, the distance between indoor sockets and the ground should not be less than L3m; in nurseries, kindergartens and
primary schools , it should not be less than 1.8lfui. In laboratories, workshops, hotel rooms and other places, the installation height of sockets can be appropriately reduced. , but the distance from the ground shall not be less than
0.3m; the installation height of concealed sockets in special places shall not be less than 0. 15m. When the socket holes of a single-phase double-hole socket are arranged horizontally, the right hole is connected to the phase wire and
the left hole is connected to the neutral wire; when arranged vertically, the upper hole is connected to the phase wire and the lower hole is connected to the neutral wire. The upper hole of the single-phase three-hole socket is connected to the ground (or zero) protection wire, the right hole
is connected to the phase wire, and the left hole is connected to the neutral wire. The ground (or zero-connected) protective terminal and the neutral (neutral) terminal in the socket must not be connected across each other, and their connecting wires must be
strictly separated. The upper hole of the three-phase four-hole socket is connected to the ground (or zero) protection wire. The wiring of the other three holes should be ensured in the same place. The phase sequence of the     wiring must
be consistent. Generally, the right hole is connected to phase Ll and the left hole is connected to L2. phase, the lower hole is connected to phase L3. The installation height of sockets installed in the same place
should be consistent, and the height difference should not be greater than 5mm; the height difference of sockets installed in rows should not be greater than 2mm, and the height difference of similar model sockets installed side by side should not
be greater than 1mm. Ground sockets installed on the ground should be equipped with protective covers. The installation method of exposed and concealed sockets is the same as that of switches. I won’t go
into details.
    For single-phase two-hole sockets, the right pole of the opposite socket is connected to the power phase line, and the left pole is connected to the neutral line of the power supply; for single-phase three-hole and three-phase four-hole sockets , the protective ground
(zero) pole should be connected at the top.
