The circuit is shown in Figure 3-16. It uses 555 time base integrated circuit A as the time
control component ; a capacitor step-down circuit; and a bidirectional thyristor V to control the intermittent operation of the motor
. By adjusting the values ​​of resistors Ri, R2 or capacitor Cl, the running and stopping time of the motor can be changed. According to the parameters shown in
the figure, the running time is 50s and the downtime is 15s.
