Mobile phone PCB digital ground and analog ground [Copy link]

I heard from a senior who has been working in the industry for many years that now all mobile phones are made with a whole GND. I wonder if this is true.

The PCB board of a mobile phone is generally around eight layers. Now drawing software is very powerful, and it is not a problem to make a board with more than ten layers. The density of the motherboard components is also very high. A whole ground? Analog ground and digital ground are usually separated, and there are some other grounds. Analog ground and digital ground are generally isolated with 0 ohm resistors to prevent interference. Mobile phones will not have the same ground.

For designers who know the reason, it is not impossible to use a whole ground. The key is to make relevant considerations during the component layout stage. Ensuring that the digital pulse ground return does not flow through the analog ground can avoid interference. Using a whole ground should be good for EMI. And there should not be many analog circuits in mobile phones.
