Simple troubleshooting of electronic multifunctional electric meter[Copy link]
The reason why the meter does not display: No power supply. Solution: ① Use a multimeter to check whether there is voltage in the circuit (it is recommended to measure on the voltage terminal block of the meter). ② Whether the voltage of the meter is connected according to the rated voltage marked on the meter panel. The reason for not measuring or under-measuring: The metering circuit is not working properly. Solution: ① Whether the connected voltage is normal. Whether the current wiring meets the requirements (the input and output wires of one phase or two phases are connected in reverse). ② Users with conditions can use the existing power tester to test the accuracy of the meter. ③ By estimating the power load of the user's electrical appliances and comparing it with the power displayed by the meter, if the difference is large, the meter measurement should be fine. ④ Whether the current short-circuit wire on the terminal block in the junction box or metering cabinet is lowered. (This phenomenon occurs after the meter is newly installed or replaced). The reason why the auxiliary terminal power pulse cannot be measured: incorrect wiring and no external power supply. Solution: ① If the power pulse light on the nameplate flashes, check whether the test line is correctly wired. ② The pulse output mode of the Wasion meter is mostly empty contact output, and an external power supply (5V-24V) DC must be added, and the voltage cannot be higher than this value. A multimeter can be used to check whether the requirements are met. The reason for RS485 communication failure during reading: abnormal hardware or incorrect setting of parameter management software. Handling: ① First check whether the communication hardware is normal: the communication software uses the 10V DC range of the multimeter to measure the voltage that should jump between RS485A and B when issuing commands. ② Whether the communication line is connected correctly, the RS485 port can be checked with the 10V DC range of the multimeter. The high potential should be connected to the A end and the low potential should be connected to the B end. ③ Check whether the protocol is correct. The communication protocol of the table and the software should be consistent. ④ Whether the port selection in the parameter management system is the same port as the port of the inserted hardware. Whether the port setting is correct: stop bit 1, data is 8, even verification, and whether the communication baud rate is consistent with that in the table. Reason for unsuccessful parameter setting: abnormal hardware or corresponding permissions are set. Handling: ① First refer to the above point to find the reason. ② Whether the permission password is correct and whether the programming button is pressed. ③ Whether there is a corresponding permission control word can be checked in the display code 080060-080065 on the meter. Hope the above methods can solve your problem.
