A Brief Analysis of the Reasons Why the Rice Cooker Trips Out of Control Early [Copy link]

This post was last edited by jameswangsynnex on 2015-3-3 19:57

Before the rice is cooked, the magnetic switch of the rice cooker jumps to the keep warm state. This is a common problem of rice cookers. The main reasons are as follows:

1. The magnet loses its magnetism, which is a common fault in old rice cookers. In addition, the quality of rice cookers on the market varies greatly, and poor magnetic switches are more common.

2. The bottom of the inner pot is deformed or dirty, resulting in poor contact with the heating plate, which reduces the heat conduction surface and increases the thermal resistance, causing the switch to trip in advance. The deformation of the bottom of the inner pot is mainly caused by excessive force during serving or cleaning, and placing the inner pot on a gas stove or coal stove to cook rice. In this case, you can use a wooden handle to knock and adjust the bottom of the inner pot to match the heating plate (if the heating plate is deformed, you can only replace it with a new one).

3. The magnetic switch assembly fails, such as the insulating plastic is deformed due to high temperature aging, etc., which should be replaced or adjusted. Adjustment method (including after replacing the magnet): Before putting the inner pot in, press the switch assembly key once. It should pop up and reset automatically after you let go. If not, bend the straight rod of the key switch downward to adjust it. Then press the magnet (simulating putting the inner pot in). The key should not pop up and should remain firmly attracted. If it still pops up automatically, it needs to be tilted up a little in the opposite direction to the above. At this time, release the finger pressing the magnet, and the switch assembly key will pop up and reset accordingly. What is important is that when the key is opened and closed, the copper contact controlled by the insulating fiberboard strip in the middle of the switch lever should also open when opened and close when closed accordingly.
