[V2S200D Voice Vibration Sensor Evaluation Kit Review] Bicycle Helmet Test [Copy link]

Previous tests have demonstrated good noise reduction effects. This time, a bicycle helmet was used to test the mobile phone headphone mode.

The mobile phone headset mode can be used in any wearable device that has good contact with the head, mobile devices in headset mode, and helmet application scenarios.

Open the software, select V2S as the input device as before, and then record the sound:

In the above picture, the left side shows the data of the comparison microphone, and the right side shows the data of V2S. You can click Play to play, but the sound will be very small.

From the analysis of the results of the no wind noise test, low wind noise test, and strong wind noise test above, we can see that:

1. In the absence of wind noise, the microphone can still obtain normal human voice data

2. In the presence of wind noise, the data obtained by the microphone is very noisy

3. Regardless of wind noise, the data obtained and processed by V2S can clearly separate the human voice

4. Through the spectrum diagram of each test, we can also see that after processing, the separation of sound is very obvious.

When using V2S to pick up sound data, the head directly contacts the sensor, which vibrates to allow the sensor to obtain the corresponding data, selectively picking up the speaker's voice while rejecting external noise from wind, traffic, chatter, etc., so that it can be completely enclosed in the helmet without the need to provide an external sound wave contact channel like ordinary microphone sensors.
