1. Product Overview:
Rosemount's 3051C pressure transmitter has created a new standard for pressure measurement technology. It has unparalleled operating performance, a flexible CoPlanarTM platform, and can be upgraded. The performance indicators of the new 3051C pressure transmitter ensure accuracy and stability under different working conditions.

Working principle: During operation, the isolation diaphragms and filling fluids on the high and low pressure sides transfer the process pressure to the filling fluid, and then the filling fluid transfers the pressure to the sensing diaphragm in the center of the sensor. The sensing diaphragm is a tensioned elastic element, and its displacement changes with the pressure (for GP gauge pressure transmitters, atmospheric pressure is applied to the low pressure side of the sensing diaphragm). AP absolute pressure transmitters always maintain a reference pressure on the low pressure side. The maximum displacement of the sensing diaphragm is 0.004 inches (0.1 mm), and the displacement is proportional to the pressure. The capacitor plates on both sides check the position of the sensing diaphragm. The difference in capacitance between the sensing diaphragm and the capacitor plate is converted into a corresponding current, voltage or digital HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transmitter Data Highway) output signal.
