Preface

The CSK6 large model voice and vision development board can be used for large model voice dialogue when connected to the Internet, so some friends want to add a shell and put it on the desktop to use it like a speaker. However, since the development board's sound pickup and wireless signals are easily shielded by the shell, the development board cannot be used normally. This article uses the 3D printed shell as an example to explain the relevant shell structure and related precautions.

The 3D printing model file resource of the appearance in the picture below is placed in the attached document. Friends in need can take it by themselves.

Key Structural Considerations

● Microphone pickup window: It is divided into panel window and side window. The purpose of opening two windows is to increase the sound receiving surface as much as possible. The actual sound pickup effect at two angles of the window opening in the office environment is similar to that without the shell, but the wake-up interaction effect from the Type C interface side is slightly weaker.

Plastic 3D shells are not likely to affect wireless signals. Sound pickup is possible.

In an environment where the WIFI signal is unstable, the network may be disconnected when this window is blocked. If you need to
use the box on a desktop, it is recommended to add a new window at the corresponding position of the wireless module below the screen.

This is too fragile.
Adding a new window does not necessarily mean that the network will not be disconnected.
