【Foreword】

I participated in the forum's "Trade in Old for New! 100 sets of TI MSPM0 are ready to go, upgrade your equipment!" In this activity, I applied for a development board, the purpose of which was to upgrade the original STM8L to the MSPM0 series.

【Development Board Introduction】

This is a very small development board. The debugger takes up most of the board space. The MCU evaluated is the MSPM0+ C1104, which has a 24M main frequency, 16K FLASH, and 1K RAM.

After receiving the development board, I used CCS to develop it, transplanted the 18B20 single bus driver on MSPM0+L1306, and also used the I2C protocol to drive the data code. The effect is as follows:

'【Activity experience】

During this event, I carefully analyzed the parameters of stm8L and MSPM0+C1104 and found that its advantages are as follows:

1. Wider bandwidth, 16-bit VS 32-bit.

2. The main frequency is increased: 16MVS24M.

3. Bigger FLASH: 8K vs 16K

4. Lower operating power consumption: 150uAMHz VS 85uAMHz

A detailed comparison of the two official manuals is shown below:

【Summary】

This event allowed me to experience the MSPM0+ products and gained more experience in future selection. Thank you EEWORLD and Ti!

The function was also transplanted, which is very wrong.

If I don't do it, I'll feel sorry for this board. It really tests my programming ability. It has 1K RAM, so I'll use it sparingly!  Details Published on 2024-8-8 11:33

After looking for a long time, I found that the large area on the left is XDS110 burner, and C1104 is the patch on the right.

The development board is very expensive, which is the cost of the debugger. You can make a minimum system board and run it yourself.  Details Published on 2024-8-8 11:34

The OP + moderator are awesome. By the way, I would like to say that the OP has so many development boards. Let me learn from him~~

Good luck to you, big guy. There are many opportunities to try out boards in the forum. I hope that one day you will have so many development boards that your warehouse will be full!  Details Published on 2024-8-10 22:54

Now I get a headache when I see the development board. I have a headache handing in homework and I have a headache where to put it!
