I had the same idea. I thought that if the fan failed or couldn't be used after the battery pack was removed, I would buy a large AC fan. I didn't expect it to work normally after the battery pack was removed. So I saved money and bought it.

If the fan indicator light indicates a battery failure, you can put an electrolytic capacitor of about 100uF in the battery interface, and it will most likely work.
