The MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 is an 8-Bit/10-Bit/14-Bit high-speed, low-power D/A converter. It is pin-to-pin compatible with the AD9708. When the sampling rate reaches 125MSPS, the MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 can also provide excellent AC and DC performance. The
normal operating voltage range of the MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 is +2.7V ~ +5.5V, and the low power consumption makes it well suited for portable and low-power products. Without affecting performance, the power consumption can be further reduced to 45mW by reducing the full-scale current output. In addition, the power consumption can be reduced to about 20mW in sleep mode. The
MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 adopts advanced manufacturing technology. A segmented current source structure is combined with a dedicated switching technology to reduce parasitic synthesis and improve dynamic conversion performance. The chip integrates edge-triggered input latches and temperature-compensated bandgap bands to obtain a complete monolithic integrated circuit DAC solution. Supports +3V and +5V. The current full-scale output is 20mA, and the output impedance is greater than 100kΩ. The
complementary current output provides single-ended or differential applications. The current output terminals can also be directly connected to two output resistors to achieve two complementary single-ended voltage outputs. The default output voltage range is 1.25V.
The MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 includes a 1.2V internal reference and a reference control amplifier that sets the full-scale current by adjusting an external resistor. It can also be connected to an external reference. Without affecting the drive capability, the MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 output current can be adjusted from 2mA to 20mA.
The MS9708/MS9710/MS9714 uses a 28-pin TSSOP package and works normally under industrial standards.
