[Milresa RZ/G2L Development Board - Trial Experience] Mir's disk imaging tool failed to burn the SD card [Copy link]

This post was last edited by lugl4313820 on 2023-5-31 13:33

I strictly follow the image burning in "MYD-YG2LX_Linux Software Development Guide.pdf". After burning, a prompt pops up, requiring the disk to be formatted:

Then I checked the data and found that only a few hundred MB of data had been written, which should have been 3.9 GB. I asked the Mir technicians and they told me to change the card. I changed to 16G, 64G, 128G, and 512G cards, and also changed to different brands of cards. Still the same.

I just want to know, is this a problem with my computer or with the image burning software provided by Mir?

Some cards need to be formatted for special operations, such as the card from Devin Technology. Ask carefully whether it is necessary.   Details Published on 2023-6-1 08:57

This image burning software seems to be commonly used. Check if there is a new version. Try it with the new version.

It is best to try an 8G TF card, and class 4 cards are recommended, because many uboot software cannot recognize FAT partitions larger than 8G.

You can also use partition software to partition the card into partitions below 8G and format them into FAT32 format.

I forgot to mention that the UBOOT I mentioned does not refer to the boot program on the flash, but the boot program built into the ROM of many chips. I have encountered this situation many times.

I'm not sure. The documentation doesn't mention it. Even Mir's remote control didn't work yesterday.  Details Published on 2023-6-1 11:01
