This book mainly studies related systems centered on AC motors, focusing on analysis methods and operating performance.

This book has 7 chapters. Chapter 1 takes the salient pole motor as the research object, regards the AC motor as a circuit composed of a stator and a rotor with relative motion, and discusses its mathematical model and parameter calculation method starting from a single coil. Chapters 2, 3 and 5 study and discuss the basic electromagnetic relationship and parameters, operating performance and analysis methods of three-phase synchronous motors and asynchronous motors. Chapter 4 studies the mathematical model, control method and vector control of self-controlled synchronous motors. Chapter 6 studies the magnetic field oriented vector control, direct torque control and doubly fed motors of squirrel cage asynchronous motors. Chapter 7 discusses the internal asymmetry problem of AC motor windings.
