Ruimingwei XC1203 one-to-two fast charging cable uses the TMI2283QE synchronous buck converter, which has an efficiency of up to 94%, a wide voltage input (4.5V~30V), and integrated multiple protection functions. It can meet the three characteristics required by the above fast charging cable, and can be adapted to a variety of PD charging heads and has a strong output load capacity.
This fast charging cable has a USB-C input, supports a maximum power of 100W, and has a USB-C output + Lightning, which can meet the needs of charging laptops and Apple phones at the same time, maximize the use of output power, and shorten the charging time. In addition, through the built-in control chip of the cable, 73+27W power distribution control is achieved, supporting 65/40/22.5W power charger applications, and can be connected to a computer for data transmission.
Disassembling Ruimingwei XC1203 one-to-two fast charging cable
A control chip, LED indicator, switch and two VBUS switch tubes are soldered on the back of the Ruimingwei one-to-two fast charging cable.
The following figure shows the synchronous buck converter built into Ruimingwei's one-to-two fast charging cable, which is from Toulwei, model TMI2283QE.
TMI2283QE has a built-in switch tube, supports 4.5V to 30V input voltage, built-in soft start function, supports PFM mode, can achieve 100% duty cycle, and has input overvoltage protection, overtemperature shutdown and other protection functions.
Strong heat dissipation capability: The output current can reach 3.5A at 5V, the operating frequency is adjustable, and the efficiency of TMI2283QE is as high as 94% at 5V/3A output, which can effectively reduce losses and optimize heat dissipation.
Small size: The package form is SOP8, and it has built-in P-MOS+N-MOS path driver, which saves peripheral devices and reduces costs;

The main control chip is an 8-bit CMOS MCU with 32 KB of flash memory and a built-in UFC interface block for data line power distribution control.

Disassembly summary
Ruimingwei's one-to-two fast charging cable adopts a small board design. The small board is welded with USB-C input and corresponding output wires, which can realize the functions of a multi-port charger and two charging cables, meeting the simultaneous fast charging needs of two devices.
Toulwei's TMI2283QE step-down converter is used for Lightning interface step-down output. It has built-in input overvoltage protection and over-temperature shutdown protection to provide high safety for the port.
