Teachers, how do you read the ISO-xxxxx industry standard? [Copy link]

Teachers and masters, I recently wanted to look at the camera industry standards such as iso-12234, but I don’t know where to find them. How can I read them? It is said that the thing is very long. Are there any tricks?

[Is ISO a self-determined standard by the industry or a national requirement? ] ISO standards are formulated by experts from various countries, not national requirements. However, our country often directly translates some ISO standards and directly uses them as national standards.   Details Published on 2023-1-9 08:48

How to look at it

Or do you still “don’t even know where to download it”?

These seem to be two different issues.

To download the standard, go to this website.

As for how to see it, it’s up to you.

The URL is black. For the longer standard, you can find it online. There are many places to download it.

Or maybe it has to be a teacher?

I went to see a camera in GB national standard and it was very detailed.

What about those abroad?

Which one is more convenient for ISO?

Are you looking for the standard for cameras? I guess there is no ISO standard for cameras yet.  Details Published on 2023-1-8 21:55

ISO is the logo (not the abbreviation) of the International Organization for Standardization, which was established in 1947 and is a non-governmental organization. Its standards all start with ISO. ISO standards are often adopted by other countries as equivalent or equivalent and become the national standards of that country.

Products like cameras do not necessarily have national standards, let alone ISO standards. Usually, the standards for specific products are often enterprise standards. Enterprise standards are written and formulated by each enterprise, and then reported to the Technical Supervision Bureau for filing and approval. For products that are widely used and produced by many manufacturers, industry standards are often formulated. The higher level standard is the national standard. National standards and industry standards are mandatory.

Enforcement means that it has legal effect. Enterprise standards do not require enforcement, but only indicate to product users what level the product can achieve.

What you see is the national standard, which is legally binding and must be enforced. In other words, your product must comply with this standard.

Yes, this standard is the minimum limit required by the country, including the definition of detection methods and test algorithms, etc. Is GB the abbreviation of national standard? So is it the mandatory ISO, which is set by the industry or the national requirement?  Details Published on 2023-1-8 22:50

As for ISO standards, they have no legal effect in any country. However, our country often directly adopts ISO standards as national standards.

GB is the abbreviation of national standard? So it is mandatory.

Is ISO something that is set by the industry itself or is it a national requirement?
