## Introduction This article mainly introduces the 8/16 channel AD acquisition development case based on Allwinner Technology A40i (ARM Cortex-A7) processor, using Core Interconnect CL1606/CL1616AD chips, and is also applicable to ADI AD7606/AD7616. CL1606/CL1616 and AD7606/AD7616 are compatible with each other in hardware and software. > Notes: > > (1) The AD chip used by Chuanglong Technology TL7606I module is Core Interconnect CL1606 or ADI AD7606, both of which have passed the test, and the test steps are the same. > > (2) The AD chip used by Chuanglong Technology TL7616P module is Core Interconnect CL1616 or ADI AD7616, both of which have passed the test, and the test steps are the same. *Hardware platform: Chuanglong Technology A40i industrial evaluation board! [Insert picture description here](https://img-blog.csdnimg.cn/ea22a72d5d3447f3a423c7a1ce6cf49d.jpeg#pic_center) ## TL7616P module test ** (1) Hardware connection ** Please use a VGA cable to connect the VGA OUT interface of the evaluation board to the VGA display. Since the evaluation board expansion interface does not reserve SPI bus pins, you need to refer to the following method for flying wires, and use short wires as much as possible. The hardware connection is shown in the figure below.  Lead out the pins 1 (SPI CS), 2 (SPI MISO), 5 (SPI MOSI), 6 (SPI CLK) and 4 (GND) of the evaluation board SPI FLASH (U6) after the blank is posted through flying wires.  Please connect the CON1 interface of the TL7616P module with the pins of the SPI FLASH (U6) flying wire and the CAMERA0 (J11) interface according to the corresponding relationship in the table below. Among them, the pins 23~24 of the CAMERA0 (J11) interface provide control signals for the TL7616P module.  **Note: "/" means no connection is required. ** Please lead the positive and negative electrodes of the C2 electrolytic capacitor of the evaluation base plate through flying wires, and connect them to the CON2 interface of the TL7616P module according to the corresponding relationship in the table below to provide 12V DC power supply for the TL7616P module.  The case supports the simultaneous acquisition and display of 16-channel AD data of the TL7616P module. This test takes the V1A and V1B channels of the TL7616P module as an example. Please correctly connect the V1A and V1B channels of the TL7616P module to the A channel and B channel of the signal generator respectively. The signal generator is set to output a sine wave signal with a frequency of 1KHz and a peak-to-peak value of 5Vpp (i.e., an amplitude of 2.5V) for channel A, and a sine wave signal with a frequency of 1KHz and a peak-to-peak value of 2Vpp (i.e., an amplitude of 1V) for channel B, as shown in the figure below. The voltage of the signal to be measured should not exceed the module range, otherwise the module may be damaged.  ## (2) Case test Please copy the executable file ad_capture in the case bin directory, the driver file ad76x6.ko, and the boot_package_vga_ad7606.fex image file in the "driver\boot_package\" directory to any directory in the evaluation board file system. In the evaluation board file system, in the path where the boot_package_vga_ad7606.fex image file is located, execute the following command to flash it to the Linux system boot card and restart the system. ```c Target# dd if=boot_package_vga_ad7606.fex of=/dev/mmcblk1 seek=32800 Target# dd if=boot_package_vga_ad7606.fex of=/dev/mmcblk1 seek=24576 Target# sync Target# reboot ```  After the evaluation board system restarts, enter the evaluation board file system and execute the following command to load the driver. After successful loading, the device node "/dev/ad7606" will be generated. ```c Target# insmod ad76x6.ko Target# ls /dev/ad7606 ```  Execute the following command to query the program running parameters. ```c Target# ./ad_capture --help ```  Execute the following command, the AD module will collect 8192 data and convert them into voltage values. ```c Target# ./ad_capture -d /dev/ad7606 -n 1024 ```  Please copy the generated data.csv file to any directory in Windows and open it with Excel, as shown below. Among them, the data in column C is the collected data of the V3 channel of the TL7606I module, and the data in column H is the collected data of the V8 channel of the TL7606I module. The default unit is: V.  Please use Excel's two-dimensional line chart to display the collected data as a more intuitive waveform chart, as shown in the figure below.
