The OP

This is how I became an unpaid garbage collector day by day. . . [Copy link]

Not long after I bought a smartphone, I feel that there is not enough space every day. . .

So, I clean up the garbage every day...

Still not enough, just delete some software...

It’s still not enough, so I have to clean it every day...

Now I clean it several times a day, N times...

Yesterday, I suddenly realized that I had finally become a garbage collector...

Unfortunately, I haven’t received a single cent of salary yet. . .

The main reason is that your mobile phone does too much work for you every day. If your mobile phone is only used for making calls, do you still need to clean it up like this? Now we use mobile phones as computers.

However, the user experience is still different from that of a real computer. It can only be used as a temporary emergency and cannot completely replace a computer.  Details Published on 2022-9-20 11:26

WeChat takes up half of the storage, and I don’t know how to find those useless things and delete them. The storage space is far greater than the total number of chat records.

According to this logic, all mobile phone upgrades are for WeChat?

The most convenient and limited method is to re-download the software after deleting it.

You can selectively delete some chat records, especially group chat records.

My phone only has 64G storage space, but I don't think it's not enough. In fact, I only use less than half of it. Because I don't play with my phone much, I delete the unnecessary software that can be deleted when I get it. I don't join WeChat if I can, especially group chats. Even if I join reluctantly, I often don't read them and delete the entire group chat. It is precisely because of this that I never feel that my phone space is not enough, and I don't have to delete junk every day.

I will delete unimportant WeChat chat records and only keep important people or group chats. Otherwise, I can only use search to find people or group chats on WeChat.

I mainly add people on WeChat for business purposes, and I generally don’t add friends even if they are my friends. So I don’t have many WeChat friends and even fewer groups.  Details Published on 2022-9-20 13:51

Among them, chat records 3.9G

Other data 3.8G

WeChat is really big

The experience is definitely not as good as a computer, but it is okay for emergencies. The main reason is that WeChat takes up too much space.  Details Published on 2022-9-20 12:29

WeChat treats your phone as a backup hard drive, so as long as you delete the software regularly and don't use it for too long each time, there basically won't be too many files. The important thing is not to let it run in the background.
