GM8905C
1. Function: GM8905C is a 24-bit FPD-LINK II transmitter. Its main function is to convert parallel 24-bit RGB data and 3-bit control signals (HS/VS/DE) into 1 high-speed differential signal output. The application diagram is as follows:

3. Design considerations
-1) GM8905C has timing requirements for the input RGB data and control signals HS, VS, and DE. The timing relationship between the image data and control signals received by the MCU is that HS, VS, and DE are synchronized with RGB[7:0];
-2) The power supply must be added with a filter capacitor, and the capacitance value can be considered according to the actual situation;
-3) Connect matching resistors in series at the input or output of the signal to improve signal quality;
4. Promotional precautions
-1) Please confirm the signal source interface used. GM8905C is mainly used for encoding and transmission of DVI, VGA and control signals. Also, the number of bits of input TTL should be confirmed. This chip supports 24 bits;
-2) The input clock frequency should be within the range of 20MHz~85MHz;
